A year in review: 2020 and its impact on small businesses

This event will be hosted via Zoom

The year 2020 has been exceptionally tough for Australian small business owners. Many have been forced to adapt every aspect of their business to stay afloat during the pandemic.

As we reach the end of the year, it’s time to look back and reflect on the ways in which small businesses have pivoted to survive COVID-19. This is also a great opportunity to discuss learnings that should be carried into the new year, to help your business bounce back better than ever.

At this event, you’ll hear from marketing agency director James McInerney, who will discuss how small businesses have tackled the challenges presented by the coronavirus and identify key takeaways for future success.

Join us for this insightful talk accompanied by virtual festive drinks, as we celebrate the small wins of 2020 and look forward to a brighter new year.

About the speaker:

James McInerney is a founding director of Assemblo, a full-service marketing agency based in Melbourne. Assemblo assists many clients with their marketing, including the Camberwell Centre Association.

Driven to enact stronger change and help like-minded businesses achieve success, James co-founded Assemblo in 2010 when he saw an opportunity in the market for an agency that could effectively meld traditional marketing with evolving digital technology.

Camberwell Business is part of the Camberwell Centre Traders Association. We offer networking events to support local businesses and encourage opportunities to meet and share ideas across the local community. We hope you can join us for this free event. Please note that bookings are essential.
